The Shree Saibaba Wax World Theme Park opened in Shirdi on Padwa, 22 October 2025, and was launched as the world's first Saibaba wax museum. Its opening fell during a major local festival, and large crowds came to see it on the first days. Shree Saibaba SansthanThe Globe and Mail
Baba, as if he is right in front of you. All 20 of the Sai Baba figures in the park were created by artist Hemant Wani in collaboration with Grand Orient Wax Art. Hemant has explained that he got the idea after seeing similar museums abroad, and that a lifelike figure creates a deeper emotional connection with Baba than a photograph can. The figures recreate moments from Baba's life that devotees know from the Sai Satcharitra: sitting by the dhuni in Dwarkamai, cooking in the handi to feed everyone who came, and resting on the stone that became one of his most loved images.
